Acworth Farmers Market – The Historic Downtown Acworth Farmer’s Market will begin this season on Friday, April 6 and continue each Friday morning from 8:00 a.m. until noon through Friday, October 26. The market is located in Historic Downtown Acworth in the Acworth First Baptist Church Parking Lot on the north end of Main Street. The Acworth Farmer’s Market is sponsored by the Acworth Downtown Development Authority. SAT APR 14 MARIETTA TREE KEEPERS – 8:30 AM. Calling for volunteers of all ages to come out and assist Marietta Tree Keepers as we maintain Hill Park on Saturday, April 14, 2018. Hill Park is a pretty little pocket park that was transformed from a once vacant lot just a few blocks off the northeast corner of Historic Marietta Square. The park was dedicated to the memory of Willie Hill, deacon of Zion Baptist Church. We will also travel to other planting locations to maintain other past planting sites.
