MAY/JUNE CALENDAR OF EVENTS FOR ACWORTH KENNESAW AND MARIETTA.
MAY SMITH GILBERT GARDENS ART BLOOMS – Connecting art and nature in a unique way – through ART BLOOMS. The staff planted 10,000 daffodil bulbs showcasing some of the sculptures in the permanent collection. In May, we’ll open a temporary outdoor exhibit featuring sculptures created by students in the Master Craftsman Program at KSU. The two month event will include a series of weekend artists’ demonstrations and workshops, along with self-guided tours. Art Blooms is included in regular Garden admission. Weekly Timed Tickets for Art Blooms will be available March 28th. NOW- MAY 24 ART EXHIBIT The Art House is hosting Emerging vs Experienced – Students of North Cobb Christian School and Artists 65 and older. This exhibit runs from NOW thru May 24. We are open: Tuesday thru Saturday, Noon to 6PM. Located at the corner of Logan Farm Park across from 1885 Grill.
NOW – JUNE 20 ART EXHIBIT The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art presents The Four Elements: A Group Exhibition, on view in the Main Galleries from now through June 20, 2021. The MCMA is located at 30 Atlanta Street, Marietta, 30060, just off the Square.

This year’s market will take place on Wednesdays, with hours of operation from 3:30-7:30 PM, and will be located in the parking lot at Kennesaw First Baptist Church. The market season is set to open on Wednesday, May 26, and run through Wednesday, August 11. SAT JUNE 5 HERO RUN 5K – The 11th annual Hero Run 5K venue is in historic downtown Kennesaw on Saturday, June 5, 2021. Part of the Kennesaw Grand Prix series, the goal is to host 2000+ runners/walkers, raising funds that will be donated to local wounded veteran organizations. NOW TIL OCTOBER FIRST FRIDAY CONCERTS The Kennesaw Downtown Development Authority and the Kennesaw Downtown Merchants Association are excited to announce the inaugural First Friday Concert Series in Historic Downtown Kennesaw. The Series, which runs from now through October, will hold the next concert on Friday June 4. From 6:00 to 9:00 PM, the community is invited to stroll through the Historic Downtown area and enjoy an evening of shopping, dining and live music. The concert will take place at the Pedestrian Underpass off Main Street. Tables are available for reservation for $50. Tables will seat six individuals.
