Superior Plumbing Taste of Acworth – Sat. Oct 13, 2018

The Superior Plumbing Taste of Acworth – The 13th Annual Taste of Acworth will take place in the Historic District on Main Street, Saturday, October 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Acworth Business Association in cooperation with the City of Acworth sponsor this popular event every year that benefits numerous local schools and charities in our community. Approximately 20,000 visitors tasted their way through this collection of delicacies last year.

The event will host 150 booths from local restaurants and businesses demonstrating what they do best. There will be an entertainment stage providing live music and demonstrations from local talent throughout the day. Children will have plenty to do with inflatables, quad bungee, and challenging games located in the kid zone.  Best Booth went to Pearl Spa, the ladies are pictured here.

Restaurants will be competing for Best Appetizer, Best Entree, Best Dessert, and Best Presentation, while all of the businesses will have an opportunity to compete for best decorated booth. All food entries are due on the back porch of Pearl’s Spa at noon. Winners are announced at 3:00. Last year’s winners are pictured here.

Admission is FREE! An array of diverse restaurants, including: Williamson Brothers BBQ, Bruster’s Ice Cream, Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery, Pita Mediterranean Street Food, O’Charleys, Taste Jamaica, Copelands, Dogwood Terrace, –and many more to tempt your taste buds and fill your senses. They will be offering food samples from $1.00 to $4.00 to satisfy every palate.

Enjoy the Beer & Wine Garden sponsored by Bay Equity Home loans featuring great tastes & a relaxing setting complete with your favorite game live on demand. Parking will be available throughout town, with shuttles provided..
