Marietta Artist Market – Saturday April 27

Booth_overview1The Artists Market features talented and unique artists from all the arts. Spend the day taking in all that Downtown Marietta has to offer and top it off by shopping local at The Artists Market; the perfect place to find locally handcrafted gifts and artworks.

This April, the Artists Market highlights Songbird and Twig, creator of handcrafted, re-purposed glassware products and porcelain ornaments.  In 2012, Robin Ferrill, owner of Songbird and Twig, debuted her newest line of re-purposed glassware. With 28 billion glass bottles ending up in landfills yearly, Ferrill envisioned the brilliantly colored and uniquely shaped bottles could be transformed, and “upcycled” into beautiful food serving vessels, wind chimes, and bowls that are works of art, each with its own personality. Songbird and Twig originally got its start by creating limited edition ornaments of Atlanta area churches, including First Baptist Church of Marietta and Smyrna First Baptist. Each ornament is handcrafted limited edition.

The Marietta Square Artists Market is each 2nd and 4th Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, conveniently located on Mill Street just across from the Farmer’s Market.
