HOW TO MAKE AN AWESOME OUTDOOR TREE STAND!
Displaying Christmas trees out doors means making sure they won’t be blown over. Kennesaw resident, Cris Welsh shares her answer to this problem.
Purchase a 5 gallon bucket from Home Depot (they are orange), a 50 pound bag of Quickritte (fast setting concrete) or something similar, and a 2.5 feet piece of PVC pipe. Mix the bag of concrete in the bucket, insert pvc pipe in center, wait til the concrete sets and you have a near indestructible tree stand. Slide your tree inside the pvc pipe (be sure the pipe will fit the tree before you purchase it. Save indestructible stand for next year’s scarecrow display, Christmas display or what every else the City of Kennesaw dreams up.
