Craft Beer to be Showcased at Kennesaw Beer Fest

Kennesaw Craft BeerThe Kennesaw Downtown Development Authority is hosting its second Craft Beer Fest in Kennesaw’s Depot Park on Saturday, May 2 from 1-5 pm. The event for adults ages 21 and older will feature over 100 craft beers from greater Atlanta breweries including Burnt Hickory, Sweet Water, Terrapin, Red Hare, Jekyll Brewing, and many others. A small selection of wine and gluten free beers will also be available.

General admission tickets are now available at a cost of $35; they may be purchased at kennesawcraftbeerfest.com. After April 23, the cost will be $40. Any tickets still available the day of the event will be $50. Beers will be served in four ounce pours. VIP tickets are $65 in advance and will go up to $70 after April 23. There are no VIP tickets available at the gate. Designated Driver tickets will be available at the gate only for $20. Food may be purchased inside the event; there will also be other snacks and novelty items for sale. Live music will be provided as well as some additional fun attractions.

The special VIP admission includes a Friday evening (night before the fest) behind the scenes tasting and tour offered only to VIP ticket holders at Burnt Hickory Brewery, exclusive brews not available to general admission ticket holders, tastings by Kennesaw’s own Lazy Guy Distillery, an entrance into the Beer Fest an hour early, a souvenir glass, food, cooking with beer demonstrations and samples and meet the brewer and Beer 101 home brewing demonstrations.
