Renown Tenor, Everett Suttle to Perform at Hillgrove HS

On April 25, the Hillgrove High School Foundation will host their 5th Annual ‘Performing for the Dream’ benefit, which will feature guest tenor Everett Suttle.  Mr. Suttle has appeared internationally in opera, oratorio and recital.  He has sung with such prestigious companies as La Scala in Milan, Opera Bastille in Paris, Teatro Real in Madrid, Rome Opera in Italy, and Den Norske Opera in Oslo, Norway. The emcee for the evening is Christopher Ferrell, Supervisor of Instrumental Music for the Cobb County School District and former Band Director for Hillgrove High School.  The Hillgrove Foundation welcomes visitors to come out for the evening with Everett Suttle and enjoy feature performances from the performing arts students and the visual arts of Hillgrove High School’s Fine Arts Department starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Joseph B. Boland Theater.  A silent auction will be held in conjunction with the program.  General Admission tickets are $7 and can be purchased at the door.  Beginning Monday, April 13, advance tickets can be purchased for $5 at Hillgrove High School’s front office.  Hillgrove High School is located at 4165 Luther Ward Rd, Powder Springs, GA  30127.  The school can be reached at 678-331-3961.

EVERETT SUTTLE, a native of LaFayette, Georgia, is a graduate of the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. He continued his studies at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria and at the Brahms Haus in Baden Baden, Germany. He has also coached with such outstanding artists as Luciano Pavarotti, Peter Pears, Martina Arroyo, Eleanor Steber, David Garvey and Martin Katz. Vocal studies include Mme Alice Duschak and Francesca Richards.  Everett Suttle, the renown tenor, is brother to Hillgrove HS’s Principal,  Christian Suttle.
