The Strand welcomes the return of last year’s highly successful winter music revue, A Christmas Tradition! A Christmas Tradition is a non-stop song and dance revue featuring classic Christmas tunes, as well as childhood favorites and contemporary gems. When the whole family is together for the holidays and looking for some Christmas cheer, A Christmas Tradition is the show to see! It is family friendly and guaranteed to fill even the grumpiest Scrooge with the holiday spirit.
This song and dance revue will show off The Strand’s awe inspiring sets and effects like has never been seen before, as well as the diva voices and high energy dances that Strand patrons have come to know and love. Songs will include crooning Christmas classics as well as funky festive favorites. A Christmas Tradition is guaranteed to make the entire family dance, clap, and enjoy the spirit of the holidays – from Santa-loving six year olds to out of town in-laws.
In addition to a cast of talented local performers, The Strand has added a brand new 2014 children’s choir that will make the grinchiest of hearts grow three sizes. A Christmas Tradition will feature a trolley replica on stage to a multimedia tribute to the highlights of Marietta. It’s heart-warming, hugely entertaining, perfect for kids and adults alike, and it’s a community experience that no one in our community should miss. There is absolutely nothing else like it in the area during the holiday season!
A Christmas Tradition will feature a pre-show holiday sing along with Ron Carter on the Mighty Allen Theatre Organ. The organ pre-show will begin half an hour before showtime.
Show Dates:Are the weekends of Dec 5, Dec 12 and Dec 19. Friday and Saturday times show starts at 8:00 pm. Sundays the show starts at 3:00 pm.
