2023 TASTE OF KENNESAW WINNERS

Fantastic weather, thirty three restaurants serving wonderful food and crowds of folks made downtown Kennesaw an exciting place to be on Saturday Nov 4. The 2023 Superior Plumbing Taste of Kennesaw was held in Downtown Kennesaw, Georgia  on Main Street on November 4, 2023 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm

The Winners

Pictured above are the winners: l-r Best Appetizer, Firefly Catering; Best Decorated Booth, Mezzo Luna Pasta and Seafood, KBA President, Kevin Jabbari, Best Presentation: Forks and Flavor; Best Dessert: 1885 Grill; Best Entree: Copelands.

In addition to the above winners, the Superior Plumbing Taste of Kennesaw also awarded three honorable mentions.  They went to: Entree Aloha Poke, Island Style Jerk an Tingz; Appetizer: Fern Gully Jamaica Cafe, Meat Pie, Appetizer: Tony’s BBQ Experience, Pork Belly

The Taste’s Secret Shoppers

A team of six secret shoppers visited all 33 food booths to taste a variety of delicious foods – entrees, desserts, appetizers, along with best over all food presentation and best decorated booth. A great big thank you goes out to these six shoppers for a job well done.Hats off to Milad Jabbari, Emma Glen, Tammy Everhart, Kim Moore, David Bell, Stormi Kenney. As one of the team members told me, “It was so fun!! I didn’t mind, just had to fast the next day,”

The Kennesaw Business Association and the City of Kennesaw invited you and your family to sample over 33 local restaurants from the Kennesaw and Cobb County area.  What a great way to sample all your favorite restaurants again and again!

Admission to the Taste was FREE with food samples costing $1.00 to $10.00 each.   Visitors could grab an adult beverage from the Beer Garden and sit back relax, while they listened to live music and watched the game on the Taste’s  8’ x 15’ screen. Or they could walk around and  sample delicious food from restaurants including including Aloha Poke, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Copelands, Governor’s Gun Club, Bernie’s, Williamson Brothers BBQ, 1885 Grill, Birdie’s Wings & many more!

Visitors also had  the opportunity to  Stroll the Georgia Grown Member Village and discover fresh and unique finds for yourself and everyone on your Christmas list. There were a wide variety of children’s activities from a Quad Bungee, Rockwall, inflatable slides, bounces,and much more.

The Taste of Kennesaw benefits these five local charities. Shop with a Mustang; Shop with a Warrior; Shop with a Longhorn; Jerry Worthan Community Christmas Fund and Tommy Nobis Center.
