WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA – KENNESAW CEMETERY

The City of Kennesaw and the Cemetery Preservation Commission invite the public to attend the Wreaths Across America ceremony on December 17th at 10:00 am.

The City of Kennesaw and the Cemetery Preservation Commission are proud to partner with the Kennesaw Mountain Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution to bring Wreaths Across America to the Kennesaw City Cemetery.

Wreaths Across America coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at more than 3,400 locations across the United States, at sea and abroad. While coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies each December on National Wreaths Across America Day is a big part of the program, the mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out throughout the year. From the Revolutionary War to present-day conflicts, our veterans are devoted sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers. They come from all backgrounds in life to place those lives on the line for our freedoms. There are millions of individual stories to tell.

Join our community as the North Cobb-Harrison JROTC along with representatives of each branch of our military services take part in the laying of these wreaths. The JROTC is pictured below as they participate in several of our community events.
