The Kennesaw Business Association and the City of Kennesaw invite you and your family to sample more than 30 local restaurants from the Cobb County area. The Taste of Kennesaw is a great way to sample all your favorite restaurants again and again! Come out on Saturday, September 10th from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM for the Taste of Kennesaw, presented by Superior Plumbing in downtown Kennesaw.
Admission is FREE and samples may be purchased from 1 dollar up to 4 dollars. We are expecting more than 30 restaurants including Williamson Bros. BBQ, Bruster’s Ice Cream, Big Shanty BBQ, Copeland’s of New Orleans, Chicken Salad Chick, Mediterranean Grill, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Brazilian BBQ Masters, Olive Garden, Mellow Mushroom, Dogwood Terrace and more to tempt your taste buds and fill your senses.
Two entertainment stages: Main Street Stage with all the best local dance groups, and karate demonstrations and The Carrabbas Beer Garden with acoustic music featuring Scott Thompson from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. To finish the day listen to The School of Rock concert from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m on the Depot Stage and enjoy your dinner.
Come see the great gig DANCE Ensemble, THIS Saturday, Sept. 10th, at the 2016 Taste of Kennesaw. Performance times at 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm. They will be performing on the Main Street Stage.
Another crowd favorite, ETO, will be entertaining at 11:00 and 12:00 p.m. on the Main Street Stage.
Parking will be available throughout the downtown area as well as Adams Park and First Baptist Church of Kennesaw. A Kids Zone with interactive inflatables featuring the 33’ Shark Slide, Euro Bungee Quad Jump, 24’ Rockwall, 120’ Roller Coaster Obstacle Course, and much more.
Four local high school teams will compete in the Carrabba’s Culinary Challenge at the Taste of Kennesaw for a share of scholarship money to go back to their respective high school. The Carrabba’s Culinary Challenge will take place on the Depot stage from noon to 2 p.m., featuring the best chefs local high schools have to offer, with $3,000.00 of prize money to be distributed to the winning schools.
The monies raised stay right here in our community. The Taste of Kennesaw will benefit five local charities: Shop with a Mustang (Kennesaw Mountain High School); Shop with a Warrior (North Cobb High School); Shop with a Longhorn (Kell High School); American Legion Post 304 and Jerry Worthan Community Christmas Fund. This year the event will surpass the $100,000 mark given back to local charities.
