Taste of Acworth – Saturday, October 14!

The Superior Plumbing Taste of Acworth takes place in the Historic District on Main Street, Saturday, October 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Acworth Business Association in cooperation with the City of Acworth sponsor this popular event every year that benefits numerous local schools and charities in our community. Approximately 20,000 visitors tasted their way through this collection of delicacies last year.

The event will host 150 booths from local restaurants and businesses demonstrating what they do best. There will be two entertainment stages providing live music and demonstrations from local talent throughout the day. Children will have plenty to do with inflatables, quad bungee, and challenging games located in the kid zone and a Dog Show is planned for 2:15 pm. Restaurants will be competing for Best Appetizer, Best Entree, Best Dessert, and Best Presentation, while all of the businesses will have an opportunity to compete for best decorated booth. All food entries are due on the back porch of Pearl’s Spa at noon. Winners are announced at 3:00. Pictured above Nic’s Bar-B-Q participated. Admission is FREE! An array of diverse restaurants, including: Bruster’s Real Ice Cream, Cookie Galleria LLC, Copelands of New Orleans, Frozen Cow Creamery, Henry’s Louisiana Grill, Joe’s & Glo’s Hawaiian Shaved Ice, Nic’s Bar-B-Q, Pita Mediterranean Street Food, Roy’s Royal Dogs, Texas Roadhouse, Williamson Brothers BBQ, and Gabriels at the Old Mill will be offering food samples from $1.00 to $4.00 to satisfy every palate. Parking will be available throughout town, with shuttles provided..
