Taste of Acworth – Sat. Oct. 17

overhead2!TOA 2015 logo SPThe Superior Plumbing Taste of Acworth will take place in the Historic District on Main Street, Saturday, October 17th from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.  Acworth Business Association and the City of Acworth sponsor this coveted event every year that benefits numerous local schools and charities in our community.  Approximately 20,000 visitors tasted their way through this collection of delicacies last year and it is expected to evolve tremendously this year.

The festivities will allow 150 booths from local restaurants and businesses demonstrate what they do best.  There will be a local entertainment stage, complete with a dog show, a High School Team Cooking Challenge, children’s activities, lots of food, and more!

Restaurants include Henry’s Louisiana Grill (Yeah baby!), Center Street Tavern, Dogwood Terrace. Mellow Mushroom, Barbecue Street, Fusco’s, Copelands, Roy’s Royal Dogs, McAlister’s Deli and many more.

Admission is FREE!  An array of diverse restaurants will be offering food samples from $1:00 to $4.00 to satisfy every palate.  Parking will be available throughout town, at McCall Primary School,  Acworth First Baptist Church and Robert’s School.  Shuttles are available from McCall to downtown and from Robert’s School to downtown.  Look for the signage.  Come hungry, bring the kids, bring the pooch, and join in the fun!

Zach Seabaugh, The Voice - Season 9Excited to have so much local talent performing at the Taste of Acworth — Start the day off with NCHS Orchestra at 10:00 am. Demonstrations by Gracie Barra, dance by Great Gig and Impact Dance and music throughout the day. Two stages to chose from one at the Post Office and one at the Depot (traffic light). And Local country music artist Zach Seabaugh will be performing at Taste of Acworth on October 17. Performance is at 3:30 on the Depot Stage. You don’t want to miss his performance.
