NOSHFEST… .more than just food!
Celebrate Jewish Food & Culture, Sept. 3rd & 4th

Temple Kol Emeth will host its annual Noshfest event on September 3 and 4, 2017. The event will be held in the parking lot of the temple at 1415 Old Canton Road in Marietta, 30062.

NOSHFEST….more than just food is presented by Temple Kol Emeth.  Noshfest enters its seventh year celebrating Jewish food and culture by showcasing delicacies and activities unique to Jewish heritage and bringing together members of Cobb County’s diverse community in a fun two-day festival.  Enjoy drink and delicious food from around the world and browse booths of interesting and unique crafts and goods. Learn about the Jewish culture through interactive exhibits and tour the sanctuary with a member of the ritual committee.

NOSHFEST is a “taste” event with samples sold from $1 to $5 of delicious food including bagels, kugel, brisket, latkes, potato knish, fried green tomatoes, ice cream, pastrami and corned beef sandwiches, hamantaschen cookies and much more. Including the famous Bagel Eating Contest

Artisans are from all over the southeast featuring their own hand-made crafts, paintings, clothing, furniture, jewelry and much more.  Plan to shop for that unique gift idea.

The entertainment stage will feature live performances along with cooking demonstrations from General Muir, Kugal cook-off, Krav Maga (Israeli Martial Arts), Peyton Parker (The Voice finalist), Kyra Goldman (singer / songwriter), Chip and the Guys (Nu-Grass Americana) and much more.  Each day will begin with a flag raising ceremony and National Anthem.

There will be a replica of the Western Wall in our Israeli booth that you will be able to place prayers.  We will have several booths displaying and educating patrons on Jewish culture including scheduled tours of the synagogue.

Since this is a family affair, there will be ample activities for the kids.  The Kid’s Zone will feature interactive games and inflatables including giant slides, obstacle courses, bounces, Rockwall and Euro Bungy quad jump.   We will have a petting zoo for all the animal lovers stock full of friendly barnyard buddies: goats, llamas, sheep, chickens and rabbits to name a few.

NOSHFEST is a wonderful experience for the whole family!  Admission to the event is FREE and we are encouraging everyone to bring two non-perishable items to donate.  MUST Ministries will be the benefactor of the food donations and they do incredible things in our community.  Hours of the festival are Sunday, September 3rd from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and Monday, September 4th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Temple Kol Emeth is located at 1415 Old Canton Road in Marietta, GA 30062.
