North Georgia State Fair Concert Line-up

fairlogoThe 81st Annual Superior Plumbing North Georgia State Fair starts this Thursday, September 19, through Sunday, September 29, at Jim R. Miller Park in Marietta.

Attracting nearly 300,000 people from throughout metro Atlanta, North Georgia and surrounding states, the Superior Plumbing North Georgia State Fair is the largest fair in metro Atlanta and the second largest in Georgia.

A covered arena guarantees concerts rain or shine, including appearances by great country and contemporary Christian artists.

Headlining the Georgia Lottery Concert Series this year are: Phillips, Craig and Dean on Friday, September 20; Lauren Alaina on Saturday, September 21; Lee Brice on Wednesday, September 25; Loretta Lynn on Thursday, September 26; Colt Ford on Friday, September 27; Jerrod Niemann on Saturday, September 28. All concerts begin at 8 p.m. Concerts FREE with fair admission.

phillipsFair Trade Records artists, Phillips, Craig and Dean, is one of the top contemporary Christian music trios composed of Randy Phillips, Shawn Craig, and Dan Dean. Since forming in 1991, they have released 12 albums and earned 18- No. 1 radio singles. The group has received nine GMA Dove Award nominations, and sold more than two million units, receiving two Dove Awards for participating in the special event album My Utmost for His Highest, and also took the 2010 Dove Award for Inspirational Album of the Year, Fearless.

leebriceLee Brice, one of country music’s hottest artists of 2013 currently has seen his first three singles from his sophomore album, “Hard to Love”, reach number one on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart. The Curb Records Artist is looking for “Parking Lot Party,” to join his first three singles atop Country charts.

Colt Ford is a walking, talking, 300-pound celebration of country music and country living.  Not only is Colt Ford considered one of the most fan-friendly performers in the business, this Georgia boy is also one of the hardest working and most entertaining. Colt has just released his fourth studio album, “Declaration of Independence”.

Fair admission for adults is $7.00 admission. Children 10 and under are free. Ride tickets are $1.25 each, $20.00 for 21 tickets, $50.00 for 55 tickets and $100 for 120 tickets. All rides require more than one ticket. Parking is $3.  Concerts FREE with fair admission.  Discounted tickets will be sold at Walgreens until September 20. Adults $3.50, 21 Ride Tickets $11.00.
