Register now to chalk it up during Art in the Park festival
The public is invited to register for the third annual Chalk Fest Competition Labor Day weekend on the Square. The juried art event will take place Saturday, Aug. 31 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Anderson Street adjacent to the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art, and is sponsored by the Marietta Art in the Park festival in conjunction with the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art.
Artists of all ages are invited to create their best chalk artwork during ChalkFest on Saturday, August 31. ”We are excited to be hosting another chalk event for the city of Marietta,” Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art executive director Sally Macaulay said. “This year will be even better because Chalk Fest has grown so much since last year. The streets will literally come alive with art.”

Don’t forget that! ChalkFest’s professional contracted artists will be creating original chalk art along Atlanta Street both Saturday and Sunday from 10-5 at the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art.
