Holiday Cards for Soldiers

Holiday Cards for Soldiers

Logan Mossor is selling Holiday Cards for Soldiers at the Art-Station. Logan, a 9th grader at Hillgrove High School and an award winning artist on the state and local level, has a special interest in spreading holiday cheer to our armed forces during this festive season.  He calls his project, which is in its second year, “Holiday Cards for Soldiers”.

Logan begins in the fall hand drawing holiday cards and thank you cards every night.  Beginning in November, he sells these hand drawn cards for $1 each at his Boy Scout Troop, at his Karate studio, and at various Holiday Markets such as the recently held Hillgrove Bands Holiday Market. When a customer selects a hand drawn card from Logan’s art inventory, the customer writes a personal message to a deployed American soldier or to a disabled American veteran, then “mails” the card by placing it in a special mailbox Logan decorated specifically for this project. Logan then takes the purchased cards to the VFW for Operation Gratitude where each card is paired with a stocking full of goodies and sent to a deployed American soldier or to a disabled American veteran. ALL proceeds from the sale of his cards this year will go to the USO here in Atlanta.

Logan will be selling his cards through December 17th  at the Art Station-Big Shanty at 2050 Kennesaw Due West Road, Kennesaw, GA 30152 from 10 am until 5pm at their Gift Box Holiday Market.

Please come by and support our military by purchasing a card. You will not only brighten a soldier’s day, but also you will help the USO fund assistance programs for soldiers who have sacrificed so much to protect and secure our freedoms!
