The Winter Wonderland Ice Rink is located inside Glover Park at 50 South Park Square, Marietta GA 30060. Remember, the rink is open Thanksgiving week, so make plans to make memories with the whole family!
SO IMPORTANT – SOCKS: WEAR A PAIR AND SHARE A PAIR
When you head down to the Winter Wonderland Ice Rink, don’t forget your socks — you’ll need nice thick socks for skating. And this year, a portion of the proceeds from ice skating will go to support MUST Ministries.
We’ll also have barrels at the rink to collect socks for the population being served by MUST. Did you know that socks are among the most needed items at homeless shelters, but one of the least donated items? So please, WEAR A PAIR AND SHARE A PAIR.

THE THINK MELISSA TEAM is collecting toys and gift cards to support our local military families through The Georgia National Guard Family Program Office.  Thank you in advance for your contributions and making this an amazing Christmas for these well deserving families, who sacrifice for us all.

Please help spread the word.  The donation deadline is 12/14/16.

With all the financial cutbacks, we are seeing more and more of our Service Members and Families struggling to make ends meet. Now more than ever we are really relying on volunteers and your kind donations. The Christmas Assistance Program is designed to be a supplemental program for Service Members that are struggling financially (due to unemployment, underemployment, illness, wounded or a single parent, etc.) and are not able to provide for their children. Those in need may be deployed, have recently returned from overseas, are classified as a wounded warrior or are a traditional National Guardsman.

You can deliver your donations (UNWRAPPED PLEASE) to my office (Atlanta Communities, 3405 Dallas Hwy #720, Marietta, GA 30064 – Attention Melissa Krudwig) in Marietta;  to BounceU,1634 Cobb International Blvd NW, Kennesaw, GA 30152; Aqua-Tots (Cobb Parkway) in Kennesaw, or contact me to coordinate another option at 770-310-3269 (M) or Melissa@ThinkMelissa.com.

We thank you in advance for your willingness to help our Men and Woman who selflessly serve our county.

All the Best, Melissa, Angie, Kristie, and Kim

CALENDAR OF EVENTS

SAT NOV 28 DEPARTURE: A Journey Tribute Band – 8 pm.
The Strand (on the Square in Marietta) invites you to enjoy DEPARTURE.
Is there a better way to spend your night than rocking out to the face-meltingly awesome hits of everyone’s favorite classic rock supergroup? We didn’t think so, so we’re bringing back DEPARTURE: The Journey Tribute Band this November.

After being together for just six years, Departure has become the most respected Journey tribute band in the nation by replicating the look, sound and feel of the original 80’s rock supergroup Journey. The five band members have developed an amazing on-stage chemistry. These veteran musicians pride themselves on giving their audience an incredible high-energy stage show from start to finish.

Featured lead vocalist, Brian Williams, has an amazing singing voice flawlessly matching Steve Perry’s vocal range and movements. Departure also highlights the early Journey years featuring Joel Hayes on keys and lead vocals. Performing over one-hundred shows annually, Departure brings the very best of Journey to audiences of all ages.
So don’t stop believin’ in lovin’, touchin’, and squeezin’ your sweetheart, and celebrate the coming spring to the rocking sounds of DEPARTURE: The Journey Tribute Band this SATURDAY.
