Cobb Elections: May 24 Primary Election

Voting precinct location

Cobb County Elections workers have been busy sorting and mailing out your new voter precinct cards. The 500,000 cards from the Georgia Secretary of State’s office represent the newly drawn districts for county and state elected offices. Because these changes were only made recently, the cards are just being distributed now. If you do not receive a new card before you vote in the primary, you can always check your precinct location and details on the state’s “My Voter” page here. https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/s/

View Sample Ballot –

The ballot is long so we suggest you view a copy of the sample ballot before you go to the polls.  Democrat, Republican and Non-Partisan ballots are online.  All judges running for office are listed on the non-partisan ballot. Find out who the candidates are and what referendums will be on your ballot by viewing sample ballots at https://www.cobbcounty.org/elections/voting/election-day

CITY HOOD

If you have questions about proposed cities on the ballot, you can get information from our Cityhood Resource Center. The county government is not involved in the efforts to form new cities and did not conceive, formulate or approve any of the legislation. You can access a collection of documents plus recordings of town halls at http://cobbcounty.org/cityhood. Send questions to CityhoodQuestions@cobbcounty.org.
