SWIFT CANTRELL SPLASH PAD OPEN

The Splash Pad at Swift Cantrell is open with 50% capacity (50 people) It is first come first serve. There is no time limit but if someone leaves to eat or go to the restroom they will have to get back in line. The Splash Pad is open 10-7 every day except Thursdays (for maintenance). The cost is $2 per person for children and adults.

PARKS AND RECREATION OPENINGS

The City of Kennesaw and Kennesaw Parks & Recreation announces next steps for reopening parks and facilities to public access.
SWIFT CANTRELL: The skatepark, dog park, pavilions and restrooms at Swift-Cantrell Park are open to the public. Playgrounds and the exercise equipment are now OPEN. Park hours are daily: 6:00 am til 10:00 pm.
ADAMS PARK Adams Park is open daily from 8 AM to 6 PM. Pavilions, restrooms and playgrounds are open. The fields and batting cages aree open for non-organized activities. Organized activities, games and group gatherings greater than 25 people are prohibited.
The athletic fields at Adams Park are open for team practices, with a minimum of 30 minutes scheduled between practices to encourage social distancing and discourage gatherings of people over 25, in compliance with Governor Kemps’ Executive Order 05.28.20.02. Dugouts will remain closed at this time.
Tennis courts are open to the public.
Classes and programs at the Ben Robertson Community Center will resume beginning Monday, June 15, 2020. All guests will be screened & evaluated upon entrance, and will have their temperature taken. The Ben Robertson Community Center is open to the public for access to classes and programs only.
The City of Kennesaw asks that anyone who has symptoms or has been exposed to anyone having symptoms including, but not limited to, having a fever over 100.4°F, cough or shortness of breath to please stay home.

KENNESAW CITY HALL IS OPEN

The City of Kennesaw opened City Hall to public access on Monday, May 18, 2020.
All guests will be screened & evaluated upon entrance, and will have their temperature taken. To access City Hall, guests will need to use the middle double doors. City Hall will have a single access point, with separate doors for entrance and exit, to encourage social distancing.
The City encourages visitors to City Hall to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including a face covering.

THE SOUTHERN MUSEUM

The Southern Museum is open to the public. Our updated hours of operation will be from Tuesday to Saturday from 9:30am to 5pm. For the health and safety of visitors and staff, the Jolley Education Center will remain closed, gallery interactives will be turned off, and public programs continue to be postponed. Paid admission will provide access to all exhibitions and movies. For more information visit www.southernmuseum.org.

Smith-Gilbert Gardens

Smith-Gilbert Gardens is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Members and non-members will need to reserve and purchase tickets online before visiting at www.smithgilbertgardens.com. The Hiram Butler House will remain closed, along with the Gift Shop. All public events, classes and programs remain canceled until further notice. Smith-Gilbert Gardens is continually working to ensure the safety of our visitors, volunteers and staff, and operations may change as the situation evolves. Smith-Gilbert Gardens encourages guests to check the website prior to each visit.
