For those of you who didn’t have the honor of knowing Larry, he was a beloved member of the Marietta Kiwanis for many years.  He served on their Board of Directors but he is best known for his undying support of their flag project but it didn’t stop there.  His involvement in our Field of Flags project will go down in our history books.  Not only was he physically involved in making sure this was a community-wide project but after the event was over, Larry stored the remaining flags at his lawn mower shop for those still wanting to purchase a flag would have a point of contact and purchase location.  Larry collected the funds for the sales and turned it over to the club.  After Larry’s passing, his step-son has stepped in and is still storing flags for us and helping with our flag project.
Please join us for this special recognition day of Larry Ceminsky.
