SAT NOV 22 ACWORTH TURKEY CHASE 5K AND 2K The 2025 Acworth Turkey Chase presented by Northside Hospital will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025. We are excited to announce that we are an official Peachtree Road Race Qualifier. Runners will enjoy an exhilarating 5K run, jog, or walk through Historic Downtown Acworth and along the shores of beautiful Lake Acworth. The City of Acworth Parks, Recreation, and Community Resource Department presents this annual Thanksgiving tradition to benefit the Tackle Hunger Program! For the past sixteen years, Turkey Chase runners have helped stock local food pantries during the holiday season. Be sure to save the date for this special event. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome. All participants must bring a non-perishable food item on the day of the race to receive a race number and t-shirt. MARIETTA POPS ORCHESTRA NOVEMBER CONCERT The Marietta Pops Orchestra is back for another family-safe, family-fun concert of music covering a wide range of themes and titles on November 22 at 7pm. All this for just $20 for adults and children/students 16 years old and younger are free. The concert is about 90 minutes (no intermission). We are Marietta’s Pops Orchestra presenting live, orchestral music. We exist to present music from our community, to our community.
