OCTOBER
SAT OCTOBER 11 TASTE OF ACWORTH – Title sponsor Superior Plumbing and Acworth Business Association in cooperation with the Acworth Downtown Development Authority and City of Acworth presents the Taste of Acworth on Saturday October 11 11:00 a.m. til 6:00 pm. on Main Street, downtown Acworth There will be more than 150 booths featuring local restaurants and businesses from around the greater-Acworth area. Look for the entertainment stage, inflatables for the kids, lots of food, and more! Plan to bring your family to experience a true “Taste” of Acworth! Admission is Free! SAT OCT 11 ONLY The Craft Beer Festival is on Saturday 10/11 from 12PM to 5PM only. This is at CHALKTOBERFEST. The festival is rain or shine; no refunds due to weather. The Craft Beer Festival has a hard stop of 5:00PM, regardless of your arrival time. Serving at the Craft Beer Festival is not permitted & is illegal after 5:00PM so please plan your arrival time accordingly. The rest of the festival — including work by professional chalk artists, live entertainment, artists’ market, vendors, and activities — is FREE to attend. You only need to purchase a ticket if you want to participate in Saturday’s Craft Beer Festival.
SAT & SUN OCT 11 & 12 CHALKTOBERFEST – The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art is proud to present Chalktoberfest 2025, a unique Chalk Art Festival and Craft Beer Festival. Fri Oct 23 – Sun Oct 25. Life in the Cemetery’ Tour -The ‘Life in the Cemetery’ Tour is an annual guided historical walking tour. This fundraising event is sponsored by the Kennesaw Cemetery Preservation Foundation, dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the city’s cemetery. This one-hour walking tour, where the last tour each day is after dark, covers a variety of uneven surfaces. These include dirt, grass and grass hills, asphalt and/or gravel roads. Attendees will be required to navigate around headstones and small walls surrounding some family plots. This tour is not recommended for those with wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, mobility or balance challenges. (An online tour is available at kennesawcemetery.org.) SAT OCT 28 MARIETTA’S HARVEST FEST. Marietta’s HarvestFest is an annual festival held each October on the Marietta Square. The festival includes the HarvestFest Market, Touch-A-Truck, Scarecrows In The Square, Costume Contest, Pie Eating Contest presented by Pie Bar, and Halloween Happenings kid’s festival. The festival is sure to please the whole family!The Festival will take place on Saturday, October 18 from 9:00AM to 5:00PM at Glover Park on the Square in Marietta .The HarvestFest Market draws exhibitors from the southern states, including many local vendors, showcasing and selling their handmade arts & crafts. A host of activities are planned through out the day: Touch-A-Truck 10:00AM to 2:00PM Festival-goers of all ages will enjoy this portion of the event. Pie Eating Contest 11:30AM to 12:30PM is for ages 6 and up – come hungry! Kid’s Festival Calling all kids to come dressed in their favorite costume with a trick-or-treat bag! FRI Acworth Farmers Market will take place on Friday mornings between April 5 and October 25 from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The market is located in the Logan Farm Park Expansion, located at 4405 Cherokee Street in Acworth.
