2020 has proven to be a bummer to all of us who love fairs, festivals and any out door events. The ever creative Fair managers have come up with a solution to soften this year’s cancellation of the North Georgia State Fair – A Taste of the Fair.

The Superior Plumbing Presents North Georgia State Fair Taste of the Fair, is a drive through fair food event to benefit MUST Ministries. This drive through event will feature all of your favorite fair foods, including corn dogs, caramel apples, pizza, cotton candy, Polish sausage, funnel cakes, turkey legs, deep fried Oreos, and MORE.
The Taste of the Fair will be held on two consecutive weekends: September 25-27 & October 2-4, 2020. Hours are Fridays 4pm-8pm, Saturdays & Sundays 12pm-8pm
Load your car with your family, friends, neighbors and other fair loving folks and drive to the main parking lot of Jim R. Miller Park (North Georgia State Fair). 2245 Callaway Rd., Marietta, Ga. 30080 (Enter Gate #3 on Al Bishop Dr.) Both Admission and parking are FREE.

We ask you to donate 7 non-perishable canned goods to help MUST Ministries fill their food pantries. Each person that donates 7 non-perishable can goods will receive a FREE ticket to the 2021 Superior Plumbing Presents North Georgia State Fair.

You have your choice: Participants will drive through the one-way fair food route, decide if they would like to do walk-up or in-car service, then park in the appropriate designated area.

In-Car Service: In-Car Service will offer a limited menu. Participants will drive through the one-way fair food route, park in the “In-Car Service” lot, remain in their vehicle, place their order with an attendant, and have it delivered to them. They can either eat in their cars or take it home.

Walk-Up Service: Walk-Up Service will offer a full menu. Participants can either drive through the one-way fair food route, park in the “Walk-Up Service” lot and walk to the food vendors, or, to avoid traffic lines, they can park across the street in the North Lot, and walk over to the event. For more information visit, or follow them on Facebook or Instagram.

Pictured above: Charles Hanson’s Palace of Sweets – a regular at the Fair since 1979 & our longest attending food vendor! Charles has always been a great supporter of the fair and one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Hand dipped corndogs and fresh squeezed lemonade are two of his specialties. Stop by and say hello!
