Atlanta Air Charter, Inc. (AAC) and Kennesaw State University’s athletic department kicked off their 3 year commitment to one another with a “two ship” of King Air 200s, owned and operated by Atlanta Air Charter, Inc. Atlanta Air flew several KSU football fans to KSU’s first ever football game in Johnson City TN, where KSU squared off against East Tennesee State. The long anticipated trip has been in the works for many months now and numerous dignitaries and local executives were onboard the two aircraft. Chip Kaczynski, one of Atlanta Air Charter’s principle partners has been working closely with KSU’s Erin Wishing and Lauren Katovsky to make this event a reality.
Atlanta Air Charter, Inc. is a KSU sponsor and Kennesaw State Athletic Department’s official private air provider. “With Atlanta Air Charter just a mile down the street from the Kennesaw State University’s main campus, it only made sense that we would establish this mutually beneficial relationship; and as the air transportation needs of the university grow, we plan to expand our operations accordingly to accommodate their requirements,” Chip said.
Included in this inaugural trip were Vince Dooley, Kennesaw Mayor, Mark Mathews, Dr. Ken Harmon-Provost, John Loud, and Dr. Gene Henssler. “When I spoke with Vaughn Williams (the KSU Athletic Director) at the tailgate a few weeks ago, he was very excited about the relationship between Atlanta Air Charter and the KSU Athletic Department,” said Kaczynski, “and all of us here at the company are extremely proud to be representing Kennesaw State!”
Atlanta Air Charter, Inc. is operationally based at the Cobb County International Airport in Kennesaw, GA., and is an FAA fully certified 135 Air Carrier (Cert#V6HA567K) offering first class, on-demand air transportation in the King Air 200.
And KSU beat East Tennessee 56-16. Congratulations.
