ACWORTH BLOOMS presented by Acworth Cultural Arts

Saturday is going to be a beautiful day – what better way to spend it than at Acworth Blooms – a Spring Garden Symposium, Saturday, April 29.

Acworth Blooms is the the first annual spring garden symposium, presented by the Acworth Cultural Arts.  This event will be held on April 29, from 8:30-5:00 pm.    Come learn the basics of gardening, tips, and tricks on attracting pollinators, bouncing back from a frost, cooking with herbs and more.

Guest Speakers including keynote speaker Stephanie Stuckey (CEO of Stuckey’s) and Ashley Frasca of WSB Green and Growing Show on 95.5. Other speakers and special guests are from Acworth Community Garden, Barnsley Resort, Cobb County UGA Extension Office, Smith-Gilbert Gardens, along with a chef, a horticultural therapist, and master gardeners. Shop with vendors for plants, soap, jewelry, wearable fashions, birdhouses and more.

Doors open at 8:30am. There will be complimentary coffee and homemade rosemary scones until 9am. There will be lots of prizes, gardening baskets, vendor goods and more! Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase at the event.

Tickets for the seminars and workshops are required and can be purchased at acworthculturalarts.org for $25. The seminars and workshops will be held from 8:30-3:30 pm.  The public is welcome to attend from noon – 5:00 at no charge to shop the vendors and purchase raffle tickets.
