The City of Kennesaw is excited to kick off the 2026 Kennesaw Grand Prix 5K series with the Fit City 5K! This premier 5K series features a mostly flat, fast, USAT&F Certified course through Downtown Kennesaw and Swift-Cantrell Park—perfect for competitive runners chasing a Peachtree Road Race qualifying time or beginners and families looking for a fun race day experience.
• Race date: Saturday, April 11
• Registration: $40 per race – day of the race,
• Race day schedule: 7:30 a.m. – 1-Mile Fun Run | 8:00 a.m. – 5K | 8:55 a.m. – Tot Trot | 9:15 a.m. – Awards
Awards are presented to overall winners, masters, and top finishers in 12 age groups. With plenty of parking, restrooms, and a festival-like atmosphere with food and drinks, the Kennesaw Grand Prix makes racing simple, fun, and family-friendly.
