SEEKING FOOD SERVICE BIDS
Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta located at 1275 Peachtree Street NE Suite 500 Atlanta, GA 30309 seeks vendors from a Food Service management Company to provide summer meals for Carroll, Cherokee, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fulton, Gwinnett, Paulding and Rockdale counties. Meals will be served Monday-Friday from June 1 – July 24 with an estimated of 3,500 meals served per day. This will include hot meals and capability to provide “bag lunches” on an “As Needed” basis. The bids are publicly open on April 17, 2015 at 2:00PM at 1275 Peachtree Street NE Lobby Level Wendt Center 2. Upon request we will procure a Food Service Management Company through a sealed bid with an Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bids are due by Monday, April 13, 2015 by 5:00PM to the address above or email Hannah Carnes, Grants Coordinator, at summermeals@bgcma.org.
Bright from the Start (BFTS) www.decal.ga.gov reviews all contracts and all contracts must comply with their requirements, however, federal regulations govern, in the solicitation and award of the contract. The summer food service program (SFSP) meals ensure that children receive a well balance meal and established the minimum portions of each meal component that must be served to each child in order for the participating sponsor to receive reimbursement for combination of Breakfast/Lunch for our summer programs for eighteen Atlanta locations. Bids will require a bid bond in the amount of 5% of bid price.
