ACWORTH BASEBALL SALUTES BOB HENRY
On October 25, the Acworth Baseball Association honored Coach Bob for his dedication and support of their programs, and more importantly of the children. The baseball community came together to celebrate Coach Bob. Many in our community have been touched by his patience and dedication.
This was a great turned out and no words will describe how much he will be missed.
The City of Acworth recognized Bob Henry for his commitment and many accomplishments for ABA. The proclamation stated that Mr. Henry is a staple of the ABA program and has served as a board member, a coach for more than 20 seasons where he has impacted hundreds of children’s lives and where he was named the 2011 Volunteer of the Year. A typical question for him prior to each season was not what team was he coaching, but rather how many teams he was coaching.
