NorthStar Church is Collection Center for Hurricane Victims

NorthStar Church in Kennesaw, Ga., is serving as a collection center for donations to help the victims of Hurricane Michael, which destroyed much of the Florida panhandle last week. Beginning Wednesday, October 17, NorthStar will be collecting donations of many items, which will be delivered to FBC Bonifay in the coming days or weeks.  Drop-offs can be made at NorthStar Church’s Compass building Monday through Thursday between 8am-5pm, and Sunday mornings from 9am-12pm through October 28. NorthStar has partnered with First Baptist Church in Bonifay, Florida, which has already made a significant impact in the lives of survivors by providing food and some essentials, such as bottled water and diapers.

Donations of the following items are needed: Bug Spray, Toilet paper, Work gloves, Tire plugs, Diapers, Wipes, Sunscreen, Chapstick, 50:1Fuel for 2 cycle Engines, 20” chainsaws (the trees are VERY LARGE), Ladders, Extension cords, LARGE TARPS, Cap Nails, Nail Aprons, Hammers. Small non-perishable snacks

NO CLOTHING PLEASE – cannot accept donations of clothing
