MEMORIAL DAY MASS – MARIETTA NATIONAL CEMETERY

flagsMON MAY 27 MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE 9:00 AM Knights of Columbus Bishop Charles B. Gregory Assembly 2161 will sponsor the 25th annual Memorial Day outdoor mass at the Marietta National Cemetery on May 27, 2013.  Celebrating Mass will be the Archbishop of Atlanta, the Most Reverend Wilton D. Gregory, co-celebrant Monsignor John Walsh and assisted by Deacon Norman Keller. The outdoor mass will begin at 9:00 A.M.  Parking is available at the Marietta Public Library with shuttle service to and from the mass site beginning at 8:00 AM. This Memorial Day Service is open to people of all faiths.

The Memorial Day event begins at noon on May 27th and will feature patriotic music, posting of the colors, prayers, a gun salute and inspiring speakers. All veterans, as well the general public, are invited to attend what will be a meaningful and memorable ceremony.
