CANCELLED: TUES MAR 17 KBA AA5 -The KBA March AA5 will be held on Tuesday March 17, 5:30-7:30 at The Nest at 2921 Cherokee St, Kennesaw.  This event is being hosted by the Next and sponsored by Apotheos Roastery.  Apotheos Roastery invites our members to a special sneak-a-peak tour of their new facility — it is just a few steps down the sidewalk at 2871 Cherokee St., Kennesaw.  The Nest combines Southern BBQ with a traditional beer garden.  The Nest boasts a legendary beer list. Fifty-Nine taps pouring great craft beers, draft coffee, draft wines plus nitro charged brews. Apotheos Roastery crafts handmade cold brew coffee.  Their official opening is April 25.

TUES MAR 17 THE HELPING CLUB AT HENRY’S The Helping Club and ‘Henry’s Helps’ are joining together to assist the homebound residents in our area with our Dine-in Fundraiser. SLIGHT CHANGE:  SAT MAR 21 RIDE TO READ.Brookwood Christian School invites all motorcycle enthusiasts to join them as Brookwood honors National Reading Month by hosting their third charity motorcycle ride with Acworth’s very own Chef Henry Chandler leading the ride! Proceeds benefit the International Dyslexia Association. The event includes a $10 gift card to Henry’s Louisiana Grill  to be given out at the school at 9:00 am. NO BREAKFAST WILL BE SERVED. Beyond The EndZone” is the first of its kind Prevention event and will have the look and feel of a HUGE TAILGATE PARTY! There will be lots of cheering and live music to celebrate Recovery and showcase the power of Prevention. CANCELLED SAT MAR 28 GIRL SCOUT BADGE DAY – Smith-Gilbert Gardens, 2382 Pine Mountain Road in Kennesaw, will host Girl Scout badge workshops on Saturday, March 28, 2020, from noon until 4 p.m. Daisies, Brownies and Juniors are invited to explore the gardens and learn about nature with their troops or families, all while earning badges. FRI APR 3 ACWORTH EASTER EGG HUNT The City of Acworth and Freedom Church would like to invite your family to experience an egg hunt like you’ve never seen before! The event will take place on Friday, April 3 at the Acworth Sports Complex, located at 4000 South Main St. The egg hunt will be held on the baseball fields and we ask all participants to please park on the baseball side of the complex.
