Set to the theme, “I Love Cobb,” the 58th annual Miss Cobb County Scholarship Pageant will feature 14 outstanding young women competing for over $30,000 in cash scholarships and prizes at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre, Cobb County Civic Center, Aug. 8th at 7 p.m. The new Miss Cobb County will be a public relations ambassador during the coming year culminating with her participation in the Miss Georgia Pageant in Columbus next June.

Joanne Feldman, FOX 5 meteorologist in Atlanta, will be the mistress of ceremonies. Ms. Feldman captured the title of Miss Cobb County in 1993. The new Miss Cobb will be crowned by Patricia Ford, reigning Miss Cobb County and 2nd runner-up in the recent Miss Georgia Pageant.
The production will feature an array of special talent including ComPAny 2016 from Pebblebrook High School, Cobb County Centre for Excellence in the Performing Arts.
A special highlight will be the announcement of the 2016 Miss Cobb County’s Outstanding Teen, who will vie for the title of Miss Georgia’s Outstanding Teen in Columbus next June. She will be crowned by Tyler Reese Tritt, the 2015 Miss Cobb County’s Outstanding Teen.
The Miss Cobb County Pageant has been recognized as the top scholarship pageant in the Miss Georgia system for the past 20 years due to the generous support of community leaders and donors. Since the pageant began in 1958, the program has awarded over a quarter of a million dollars for young women to pursue their goals through higher education. The pageant is sponsored by the Miss Cobb County Scholarship Pageant, Inc., a nonprofit organization composed entirely of community volunteers.
Judging categories are a 10-minute private interview, physical fitness, talent, evening wear and on-stage question. One of these 14 outstanding young women will be the 58th Miss Cobb County:
