JUN 14 – FREE SPAGHETTI DINNER – Sardis Baptist Church is hosting a free Spaghetti Dinner the first and third Wednesdays of both June and July. The community is welcome to enjoy dinner from 5:45-6:45 and invited to stay for Bible Study at 7:00 pm (for both adults and children). MON-FRI JUNE 12-16 – ETO SUMMER CAMP – Camp ETO located at 2689 South Main Street in down town Kennesaw. This martial arts and fitness themed camp is offered for 2 weeklong sessions the weeks of June 12-16 and June 26 – 30. The week’s activities will focus on fitness, sportsmanship, safety awareness, community service, values lessons, and skills development in a fun and safe environment. In addition to martial arts, activities will include outdoor games, swimming, field trips, crafts, service projects and guest speakers. TUE-THU JUN 13-15 – ROME BRAVES BASEBALL CAMP – State Mutual Stadium in Rome. Camp will run from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm and is open to children ages 4 to 14. Cost is $150 / child. FRI JUNE 16 FREE MOVIE NIGHT AT TUMLIN PARK. The City of Marietta’s Parks and Recreation Department, in conjunction with GracePointe Marietta and Hickory Hills Elementary School, is please to host a FREE movie night in Tumlin Park located at 400 Chestnut Hill Road, Marietta, GA on Friday, June 16th at 8:45pm. Please come early and bring a blanket or a low sitting chair and pick your spot to watch a free screening of the movie “Trolls” The family-friendly activities begin at 7 pm with free popcorn, food trucks, and drawings for prizes and gift baskets every 30 minutes beginning at 7:30pm. FRI-SUN JUN 16-18 – JUNETEENTH WEEKEND EXTRAVAGANZA – Juneteenth is a project of the Cobb County Branch NAACP in conjunction with the City of Marietta. Admission to the festival is FREE. Come join the fun and fellowship, while you shop over 100 vendors, participate in the Health Fair and experience the entertainment. Hours: Friday 6-11pm, Saturday 10am-7pm, Sunday 3-6pm.
