WAVESWINGERMusic, laughter, little kids shrieks, all blend with the smells of Grannie Apple Dumplings, fresh popped corn, hot dogs, salt water taffy, and many more nostalgic scents that tickle your senses.  A kaliedoscope of colors awaits you as you stroll through the Carnival Midway, experiencing the The 83rd Annual Superior Plumbing North Georgia State Fair. The Fair takes place Thursday, September 24, through Sunday, October 4, at Jim R. Miller Park in Marietta.
Attracting nearly 300,000 people from throughout metro Atlanta, North Georgia and surrounding states, the Superior Plumbing North Georgia State Fair is the largest fair in metro Atlanta and the second largest in Georgia.

balloonrideDrew Exposition, often referred to as America’s Amusement Park on tour, has added three new rides for the 2015 season– The Black Forest- a state-of-the art fun house, Balloon Ferris Wheel- a 40-ft. high family ride and The Lolli Swing- a kiddie swing ride to their more than 40 amusement rides and games.
New Live shows in 2015 that are free with paid admission include: Wolves of the World, Galaxy Girl, David “The Bullet” Smith, Eudora Farms Exotic Petting Zoo and Keith King BMX Bike Stunt Show.

Of course our all time favorite shows and attractions are back again this year:  Probably the most entertaining by far is the Sea Lion Splash, the only traveling, self-contained sea lion show in the country! Brian Ruth “Master of the Chainsaw” is fascinating as he transforms raw logs into true works of art using only a chain saw.  Oscar the Robot, fascinates the kids and entertains the adults, while all try to figure out why Oscar knows so much.  And it wouldn’t be the fair with out the North Georgia Animals Petting Barn.

Regular tickets can be purchased at the gate: $7.00 for adults, with children 10 and under free. Ride tickets are $1.25 each, $20.00 for 21 tickets, $50.00 for 55 tickets and 120 tickets for $100. Parking is $3.00. ATM machines are located on the midway.
Want to save some money? Discount tickets will be available at all Metro Atlanta Walgreens beginning August 24 – September 25.  Adult $3.50, 21 Ride Tickets $11.00.
