CONCERT LINE-UP FOR THE 2017 NGSF IN SEPTEMBER

The 85th Annual North Georgia State Fair will be held Thursday, Sept. 21, through Sunday, October 1, 2017 with the following times: Monday through Thursday 4 to 11 p.m., Fridays 4 p.m. to midnight, Saturdays 10 a.m., to midnight, and Sundays 12:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The Georgia Lottery Concert Series for the 2017 Superior Plumbing North Georgia State Fair under the covered arena includes:
•Colton Dixon on Friday, September 22, at 8 p.m.; •Lauren Alaina on Saturday, September 23, at 8 p.m.; •Trace Adkins on Wednesday, September 27, at 8 p.m.; •Colt Ford on Thursday, September 28, at 8 p.m.; •Chris Janson on Friday, September 29, at 8 p.m.; •Zach Seabaugh on Saturday, September 30, at 8 p.m.

Colton Dixon– Since winning the hearts of America on American Idol, Colton Dixon has taken the industry by storm. Earning four No. 1-radio singles and two GMA Dove Awards for Best Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year, it’s clear that Dixon is just getting started.
Lauren Alaina– American Idol fan favorite and Georgia native, Lauren Alaina is having a banner year. Her eagerly-awaited “Road Less Traveled” was selected as one of Rolling Stone Magazine’s Most Anticipated Albums of 2017 and she just won CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards. “Road Less Traveled” recently also hit No. 1 on the country music charts.

Trace Adkins– A Nashville icon for more than two decades, Trace Adkins has made his mark on the country music industry. With 13 million albums sold and such time-honored hits as “You’re Gonna Miss This,” “Ladies Love Country Boys,” and “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” Trace is a crowd pleaser.

Colt Ford– Colt Ford is on a mission to “bring people together”…and what better way to do that than with his groundbreaking hybrid of country, blues, rock and rap rhythms. Colt bends genres like no one else and has recorded duets with everybody who’s anybody in Music City. Seeing Colt Ford perform live is always a highlight of the fair.

Chris Janson– Chris Janson is a talented singer songwriter who has witten songs for everyone from Hank Williams, Jr., and Tim McGraw to Joe Nichols and Lo Cash. His 2015 single “Buy Me a Boat,” reached the Top-5 and received extensive radio play. Chris has been called “the future of country music,” by Nashville Gab.

Zach Seabaugh (Marietta’s own)– In 2015, when Zach Seabaugh was 16, he placed fifth in the overall competition on the Voice and his dream of pursuing a career in country music was started. Since then Zach has released a self-titled, five song EP which entered the iTunes Country Album Cart at #3. Last fall he performed in Atlanta with Lady Antebellum, Jennifer Nettles and more. He also opened for Jennifer Nettles in Charlotte, NC and Chattanooga, TN. He has starredin the musical “Troubdour: at the Alliance, which featured original music by Kristian Bush, made his debut on the Grand Ole Opry Stage in January and returned in April. Zach made several appearances at The CMA Music Fest this year. When he isn’t performing nationwide, Zach spends much of his time in Nashville writing songs.

Advance tickets Admission tickets can be purchased for $3.50, with children 10 and under free. A book of 21 ride tickets can be purchased for only $11.00, which is 50% off. There is a $1.00 fee for postage and handling. Advance tickets are on sale now. Discount tickets will be available at all Metro Atlanta Walgreens beginning Monday, August 21 – September 22.  Admission $3.50, children 10 and under are free, a book of 21 Ride Tickets can be purchased for $11.00.

Gate Admission Tickets can be purchased at the fair for $7.00, with children 10 and under free. Ride tickets are $1.25 each, $20.00 for 21 tickets, $50.00 for 55 tickets and 120 tickets for $100.
